Good morning SCT fans! Nicole here today for #25 in our Designed with series. Today, we are going to create some fun stenciled backgrounds that would look amazing for card bases or even on a scrapbook project! I’m using the May SCT Sampler which was filled with products from the Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope collection for American Crafts.
Supplies: May SCT Sampler; Distress Oxide inks; Stencil & Gel Medium: Vicki Boutin
Creating this look is really as easy as 1, 2, 3 and I’m going to show you in the video below. Just gather a few supplies and play! You can really only imagine the different possibilities – change up the stencil &/or even the colour palette for a completely different look and feel to your project.
Grab yourself a cup of your favorite beverage, sit back and create some stencil backgrounds with me!

Liked your “Choose Happy” card. I didn’t like the stencil but when you played with it with the Distress Inks it really looked great as a background. Also, the papers were bold but when you fussy cut things out for your card they looked great. Thanks for sharing.
