Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, and I’m so excited to share a project I created using new products from Echo Park Paper!

I created this card set using Echo Park’s brand new Summer Vibes collection, and one of my favorite go-to Echo Park products—Stitched Dies!
Each card I made for this set is a unique size and design, but they all use the Summer Vibes collection and one of the many shapes of stitched dies available. The first card is a slim line card, and I used one of the stitched circle dies three times!
The next card is a match-book-style card. I used a stitched rectangle die on the front of this one.
This square card is the piece off the end of the slimline card base! I love it when I can use up my scraps to make something fun! I used the square stitched die on this quick and easy card.
This final card is a standard, A2 size (4-1/4 x 5-1/2”), but I used the stitched tag die to layer some oversized tags, along with lots of fun Summer Vibes papers and embellishments.

One thing that I do when using die cuts on my cards is to distress the edges with distress ink. I find myself having less time lately to do a lot of stamping and coloring. I am using more preprinted kits and collections. Distressing the edges with ink is one way to make my cards look a little more “handmade” for lack of a better word. I use my distress inking tool and Walnut Stain Distress ink from the Ranger/Tim Holtz line. Walnut Stain gives the best color for distressing, in my humble opinion. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love this, Janet! I used to do this a lot, but for some reason I haven’t been. You’ve inspired me to pull out my ink pads and add a bit of distressing to the edges of my next project! ♥️

I love using a colorful patterned paper for the backround. Always using a stitched die.
Ink resist is an absolute favorite.
However, as an old-time quilter and sewer, mixing patterns, colors and texture is right up there, too!
Love these cards! My go to technique is layering on a circle
I am just going to say that I love them all. What a beautiful collection too!
I am using more of my bright colors to ink around the edges of my papers. I just used Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn to add the greens for an Easter layout. It gives a soft but colorful edge.
