Welcome back to day three of Giving Thanks Week! Sending a handmade ‘thank you’ card is the perfect way to share your appreciation to someone who has done something special for you, and Dilay Nacar is with us to share a truly beautiful card that would make anyone feel special. Let’s check it out! And don’t miss the end of this post where we are sharing another giveaway with YOU to show our thanks!

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Dilay Nacar here with a fall-themed thank you card, just in time for the season of gratitude! This card features the adorable Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Apple Barrel die set, which I combined with a few other dies, an embossing folder, and patterned paper!

Supplies | Honey Bee Stamps: Lovely Layers: Apple Barrel Dies, Scallop A2 Card Frames Dies, Burlap 3D Embossing Folder, Fall Bounty Dies, Lovely Layers: Farm Cart Dies, It’s Always Been You Stamp Set, It’s Always Been You Dies, Holiday Wishes Paper Pad Other: Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares, Gina K. Designs Connect Glue, Scrapbook & Cards Today White Cardstock

To create the base, I embossed an A2-sized piece of white cardstock with the Honey Bee Stamps 3D Burlap embossing folder. Next, I used the Scallop Card frame die to cut the beautifully striped Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Wishes patterned paper and adhered it over the embossed panel before mounting the card front onto a top-folding card base.

For the centerpiece, I used the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Apple Barrel set to die-cut the apples, stems, leaves, and a barrel. I ink-blended the elements using red and green for the apples, various shades of green for the leaves, and brown for the stems and barrel.

Before attaching the barrel and apples to the base, I die-cut a few pieces of foliage to tuck around the centerpiece. After I assembled and glued everything to the striped panel, I added a few stud embellishments to the barrel for some extra detail!

For the sentiment, I heat embossed ‘thank you’ from the Honey Bee Stamps It’s Always Been You stamp set and then adhered it to the center of the barrel. To finish, I splattered gold watercolor paint onto the apples as a final touch!

I hope you enjoyed learning about this card as much as I enjoyed creating it, and I hope it inspires you to show your ‘thanks’ to someone special by sending them a handmade card! Thank you so much for joining me today, friends!
