Hello, SCT friends! It’s Meghann Andrew with you today, and when I had a bit of free time last week, I picked up my SCT Delivered Blue Skies & Butterflies scrapbook kit! The beautiful and bright colors in this kit work perfectly with the transition from spring to summer, and I created another 12” x 12” layout with the kit contents—my fourth so far!

Supplies: SCT Delivered Blue Skies & Butterflies Scrapbook Kit; Ink & dimensional adhesive: Stampin’ Up!; Mist: Heidi Swapp; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives; Other: date stamp, baker’s twine.

Our colorful flower photos from a spring trip to the Cincinnati Zoo were perfect to use with this equally colorful kit, and I decided to create a grid of colors, broken up with embellishment and my title, which I created with the exclusive “spring” glitter foam title and the word “blooms” from the exclusive stamp set included in the kit.

Who else loves to fussy cut like me? Floral patterned papers can go a LONG way when you cut out bunches of flowers to use on your pages, and I loved using these colorful bouquets from the Vicki Boutin All the Good Things collection to create a visual triangle of flowers on my page, and break up the hard lines from my grid.

The “smile” striped journaling tag was the basis for my choice of photos, as well as my color scheme, as I loved it so much, and really wanted to create with it! To add my journaling to the base, I printed my words onto a lined piece of patterned paper in the kit and adhered to the base of the tag. Around it, I added another floral bouquet, a cute die cut camera and a stamped pinwheel. I love this happy corner of journaling and embellishment.

While creating this layout, I filmed a quick process video! I’d love for you to see how easy it was to put this fun layout together using the Blue Skies & Butterflies Kit!

Thanks so much for stopping by the SCT blog today! I hope you’ll add some color to your creations using this kit—I still have lots of product to create with, so there are more projects in my future using it! To order your Blue Skies & Butterflies kit, be sure to click HERE!
