Hello, friends! It’s Latisha Yoast with you today. Did you know SCT has exclusive stamps and tools and staples? The card being shared today was created with the Layered Peonies stamp from our own SCT Delivered Stamps collection! It is a beautiful photopolymer stamp set that allows you to create in-depth florals and leaves. Late spring and early summer always remind me of peonies. This is the perfect stamp set to create cards just to say hello, for a bridal shower, wedding, sympathy, or even a birthday. Florals are great for just about any occasion!

There were a few different alliterations of this card, and I will not bore you with that story! However, having some sort of plan before sitting down to create is always helpful. After being a bit lost, I settled on one of my favorite color combinations of peach, coral, and pink tones.

To start, a light pink ink and polka dot stencil were used to create a soft ink blended background on a white card front measuring 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches. The sentiment “hello” was stamped in black ink on the right middle of the card front. Placing the sentiment a little skewed to the right allowed more room for the trio of flowers.

What is so great about this layered stamp set is that each of the stamps are labeled, 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, etc., so you know exactly what stamp to use in order. The leaves were stamped directly onto the card front, while the flowers were stamped onto a separate piece of paper. Many different ink colors were used from Lawn Fawn & Concord & 9th. The flowers were cut out with scissors and adhered to the card with foam adhesive. Popping the flowers up with foam adhesive gave more depth to the card.

The card front was then adhered to the card base measuring 4.25 x 5.5 inches. To embellish, enamel dots stickers from Concord & 9th were added.

I encourage you to check out the SCT Delivered stamps and dies, as well as the SCT Signature Collection to see what fun things are available. I happen to love the stamps and the water brushes! They are of the highest quality and are a great addition to my stamp and tool collection. As always, tag us on social media so we can see what you are creating!
