Hello SCT friends, it’s Aly Dosdall! I’m so happy to be back here on the blog sharing a sweet Mother’s Day gift idea with you in the form of a shaped pocket card with a little packet of tea inside. This is something you can make and send in the mail as a parcel, or you can drop one off on the porch of your favorite girlfriend, sister, daughter, mom, grandma or co-worker.
This Mother’s Day Mug Pocket Card is easy to make and I incorporated some of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools along with the Lovely Moments collection by Pebbles Inc. One of my favorite tools for making custom titles and sentiments is the Word Punch Board. I love how easy it is to use and how versatile it is. It was the perfect solution for this card!
My favorite feature of this card is the removable herbal tea packet!
Isn’t that cute! Mom or grandma will love it! You can add a tea packet, concert tickets, a gift card, or whatever your recipient will enjoy getting! I’ve provided a free printable template so you can make your own Mother’s Day Mug Pocket Card, as well as a video tutorial so you can see how I put this project together:
Download the template HERE (just need scissors, digital cutter not required!), then watch this video tutorial:
Thanks for stopping by friends! I hope this Mother’s Day craft project idea has inspired you!
If you don’t have the Word Punch Board be sure to check it out. It’s a game-changer and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it. It’s widely available online at Michaels and other online retailers. You can also check with your local craft/scrapbook store to see if they offer curbside pickup. Happy crafting!
This is so sweet! Love it!

Sweet card for Mother’s Day ❤️
So glad you all like it! Thanks for inviting me to guest post on the blog today. Love my SCT friends!
Love this!
When I clicked on the template all I saw were lines of written code. Is there an issue with the download file?
Hi Steph! We just tried it and it downloads a zip file and the file is there. You may need to clear your cache?
Such a sweet card!
Aly, this is super adorable! Hmm, I wonder what the finished size is and if it’ll fit in a standard A2 size envelope? I’ll have to make one to find out! Thanks for the free files and for including a .png file. I’ll use it to cut out on my Silhouette. :D
