Hi there! It’s Nathalie with you today to share a new project featuring the latest SCT Delivered virtual class + kit, Splendid Days. When I set out to curate the kit, I looked for papers and embellishments that could easily help you document all of your memories, regardless of the theme or season.

What better way to show you how versatile the kit is than to make it work for a fall layout!

Supplies | SCT Delivered Splendid Days Virtual Class + Kit; Cardstock: American Crafts;  Metal dies: Pinkfresh Studio (frames), Echo Park (leaves), Concord & 9th (leaves); Adhesive: Therm O Web; Inks:  Altenew

I started by cutting all of the scalloped border squares from kraft cardstock.  I adhered two of the frames together, making them sturdier and adding dimension to the page.

I adhered the frames to the pink ledger patterned paper from the Splendid Days kit. A bit of foam adhesive helped to create different levels and dimension in the frame formation in the background.

The patterned papers in the Splendid Days kit are colorful and curated to coordinate together easily. So, I pulled warm-colored patterned papers to cut a few leaves using metal dies.

Once I set my photo in the center of the page, I used a bit of foam adhesive to attach all the leaves in three large clusters on the page. The foam adhesive helps to layer the leaves and add even more dimension to the page! The leaves bring so much detail to the page—I just needed a few cardstock stickers to add some sentiments to the page.

I used the inside of the bottom frame to add my title using the alphas from the Splendid Days kit. To repeat this idea, I also used the inside of the bottom right frame to add my journaling. I finished my page by splattering a bit of gold ink around the leaf clusters.

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use your Splendid Days kit in your autumn documenting.  Remember to share your finished projects with us on Instagram and Facebook!
