Happy Monday SCT friends! We’re so glad you’ve joined us for Day 10 of our “12 Days of Holiday Giving!” On Day 10 we have designer Melissa Phillips joining us to share a pretty package all tied up with string! We also have our friends from Stamp-n-Storage and Stampin’ Up! joining us to share some amazing giveaways. Another exciting day so let’s hum our favourite “12 Days” song and see what awaits!

On the 10th day of “SCT’s 12 Days of Holiday Giving, SCT shared with me”….

Merry Christmas!  I’m so happy to be participating in SCT’s 12 Days of Holiday Giving!  Pretty packages and tags are just about my most favorite thing to create for the holidays, so today I have a little something special along those lines to share with you.

I’ve used the darling Snow & Cocoa collection from Crate Paper for my gift wrap and tag today.  I love the soft pastels used in this fresh holiday color combination.  My tag consists of layers of chipboard stickers, adhered together to build a snowy scene.  I added puffy stickers for my smaller elements, creating movement with the snowflake stickers.

Once my tag was finished, I attached it to my Clear Treat Box from Reverse Confetti.  The Clear Treat Box Combo comes with these delightful containers and a coordinating die that creates a fun patterned paper border that you can attach to the top or the bottom of your treat box.    To finish I added ribbon and baker’s twine used to attach my tag to my package and now it’s ready to tuck in a stocking or leave on a teacher’s desk as a Christmas treat.

One of my most favorite memories of the Christmas season was ice skating on Peck’s pond in Highland, UT.  It was completely picturesque…surrounded by snowy trees and farmland, and nestled in with the cows :).  The snow would be cleared away with an old tractor so that the kids from the neighborhood could bundle up and ice skate until dinnertime after school each day.  The afternoon was not complete of course without hot cocoa brought in a thermos for all to share.  Snow & cocoa….for perfect winter days!

Wishing you a beautiful Christmas filled with peace, contentment, and joy!” ~ Melissa
