Hey, crafty friends! It is Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration. Our American friends are about to celebrate Thanksgiving, but I am of the firm belief that there are a million things to be thankful for every day. Today I want to show you a new gratitude layout featuring the new Crate Paper & Maggie Holmes Parasol collection.

Supplies | Crate Paper & Maggie Holmes Parasol collection: Patterned Paper, die cuts, cardstock stickers, clear stickers, picture frames; Cardstock: Bazzill; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Metal dies: We R Memory Keepers Sans Serif Alpha dies; Ink: Altenew; Die cutting machine: Altenew

I just love the colors and layers on this page.  The new Parasol collection is perfect for all sorts of documenting, but ideal for those special memories!

I wanted to create impact on this layout, and that meant a large title. I used the We R Memory Keepers Sans Serif Alpha dies to create the letters for the title.  I cut each letter twice from white heavy cardstock, and once from patterned paper. I stacked and glued the die cut letters together, with patterned paper on the top layer to create dimension in the die cuts. Think of them as creating your own chipboard letters!

To create the background of my page, I trimmed vanilla cardstock to a 11 x 11-inch square, then framed the cardstock with a piece of patterned paper from the collection. Next, I used the Paperie pack from the Parasol collection to create a layered look on the background.

All that is left to do is set up everything in place. I started with the title on the left side of the page. A bit of foam adhesive helped to add extra dimension to the spread and made the title pop out from the page.

Next, I used a few of the frames from the collection to highlight my photos. These were placed to the right of the title. Then it was all about adding embellishments!

I made sure to repeat embellishment clusters along the diagonal line of the page, helping to guide the eye of the viewer throughout the page.  To finish, I added a few drops of gold ink around the entire page.

I hope this inspires you to create your own gratitude layout this month. I cannot wait to see all our beautiful memories documented!
