Hello everyone! My name is Sandra and I’m from Leipzig, Germany. I’m a member of the American Crafts & We R Makers Design team. I’m thrilledto be featured here today. I’ve been an avid paper crafter for several years now, and I love experimenting with different techniques and clean and simple designs. Whether I’m making cards, scrapbook pages, or creating beautiful mini albums, I find that the process of cutting, folding, and gluing paper is incredibly satisfying, because it just makes me happy to create with my own hands and to share my designs with my friends, family, and the scrapbooking community. I’m excited to share beautiful, handmade spring cards with you today!

Supplies | Crate Paper Gingham Garden Patterned Papers & Paperie Pack

All you need to make these cards is patterned paper and the Paperie Pack from the Gingham Garden Collection by Crate Paper & American Crafts. Thestickers and papers have very delicate pastel colors and designs and are just perfect for making pretty spring cards. You will also need foam adhesive to create layers with the stickers and papers.

To start creating your handmade cards, first choose the patterned paper and stickers that you want to use. Cut and fold the paper to the desired card size. I went for the standard size 4-1/4 x 5-1/2”. Now, pick your stickers and attach them with foam pads, making them stand out from the card baseand the sticker or paper underneath. This will create layers on your card. Plus, you can add dimension in no time, which will make your cardslook more interesting. The Paperie Pack also comes with journaling sentiments which are perfect to add sentiments to your cards.

If you prefer cards with more embellishments, simply add sequins, baker’s twine, or stamped sentiments. You could even create lovely backgrounds with stencils and paint. Just make sure that the additional embellishments and paints coordinate with the delicate colors found on the stickers and papers from the Gingham Garden Collection.

Whether you are an experienced card maker or just starting, these cards are fun and easy to make at all levels. So why not give it a try and see what you can create with the Gingham Collection by American Crafts to delight the people who will receive your cards!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ve found inspiration for your spring card projects. Have fun creating!
