One of the hottest papercrafting products on the market right now are metal dies! These versatile, multi-use products can be used for anything, from layout titles to basic shapes, and today we are so excited to share inspiration and ideas using our favorite exclusive metal dies from the Scrapbook.com shop with you! First, let’s take a look at a couple of ideas from the SCT creative team!

created by Meghann Andrew

This page by Meghann shows off three different ideas for using metal dies: titles, borders and pockets! Meghann used our DIY Pockets dies to create a pocket for her journaling, Typewriter Alphabet die to create her custom title and Slimline Borders to create a colorful border to draw attention to her photo! Watch as Meghann creates this page with our three different metal dies here:

Becki Adams had an amazingly inspired idea on this page: use your alphabet metal dies to create a one-of-a-kind background! Becki used a tone-on-tone white design with our Festive Alphabet to create a textural and unique background, which she topped with hearts from our Nested Hearts set and another DIY Pocket! We also love that Becki used the same Festive Alphabet to add her “Read” title right on her tone-on-tone background. What a great idea!

Next, take a look at how our friend Andrea Marvilla Lake elevated our simple Slimline Borders to create an exceptional, colorful page! We also love that Andrea cut her title from gold foil paper using the Festive Alphabet die for that metallic shine and added a touch of floral with our Sprigs die set! So many great ideas on one page!

Carol Weatherspoon created a soft, pretty background on this page with gorgeous, patterned circles cut from the Nested Fancy Circle Borders. We love the homespun feel it adds to the page, and that library card pocket created with the DIY Pockets die is just perfect!

Finally, Brianna Lepper shows us what can be done with word dies using the Beautiful Family Sentiments dies. Instead of simply using them to create a title, Brianna created a gorgeous, cascading element to draw attention to her photo.
