Hello crafters! This is Victoria and I am back with two festive holiday card projects using the Scrapbook & Cards Today Peace, Love, Joy stamp and die set. This adorable set is so cute and versatile, perfect for creating a variety of gorgeous card designs. Let’s take a look!

Supplies | Scrapbook & Cards Today: Peace Love Joy stamp and die set; Catherine Pooler: smooth cardstock; Spellbinders: Intertwined Lattice embossing folder; Paper Studio: Dotted embossing folder; VersaFine Clair: Nocturn ink; Ranger: White Embossing Powder; Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink: Broken China, Dusty Concord, Prize Ribbon, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Spice Marmalade, Festive Berries; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D foam Squares; Bearly Art: liquid glue

For the first card project, I created a clean and simple design. I stamped the holly leaves and berries using Peeled Paint and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. Next, I went direct-to-paper using Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink on Catherine Pooler Smooth White cardstock and cut the word Joy from the inked paper. This is a great technique for creating solid-colored cardstock for your projects!

After die-cutting images and the greeting, I cut and adhered a 4.25 x 5.5-inch patterned paper card base, a 4 x 5.25-inch card panel, and a 3.25 x 4-inch panel as shown. For added interest, I embossed the smaller panel using the Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice embossing folder. The addition of the embossed panel adds a ton of texture to this simple and clean card!

To the bottom of the card, I stamped the sentiment Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas using the Peace Love Joy stamp set and Versa Fine Clair Nocturne Ink. Once stamped, I adhered the word Joy and the berries above the sentiment. Lastly, the entire panel was adhered to a 4.25 x 5.5-inch card panel.

For my second card project, I went completely out of my comfort zone and created a festive rainbow design using several Distress Oxide ink colors! Normally, I prefer traditional colors for my holiday cards. However, inspiration struck and I decided to play with a rainbow of colors!

To begin, using a scrap of smooth white cardstock, I ink blended a rainbow gradient using Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China, Dusty Concord, Prize Ribbon, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Spice Marmalade, Festive Berries). Next, using the Christmas tree stamp from the Peace Love Joy stamp and white embossing powder, I heat embossed the image on the inked panel and used the coordinating die to cut the tree element.

Next, I embossed a 4 x 5.25-inch panel using a dotted embossing folder from my stash. I adhered the panel to a 4.25 x 5.5-inch card base. To the panel, I added the rainbow Christmas trees using foam squares for added height and dimension.

To complete this card project, I created another inked panel using a scrap of smooth white cardstock and Festive Berries Distress Ink. To the panel, I heat embossed the sentiment Peace, Love, Joy and cut it using a coordinating die. Next, I adhered the sentiment to the card panel using adhesive foam. I must admit, I LOVE how this card came out! I do believe that there will be more rainbow holiday cards in my future.

So, there you have it—two super simple, yet high-impact cards using the Scrapbook & Cards Today Peace Love Joy stamp and die set. I hope these card projects have inspired you to make fun and festive cards this holiday season!
