Creating cards with this Sampler was simple and fun, and I’m going to share a few ideas on how I used these sample-sized products to create four very different card designs using different techniques.

Isn’t grey and pink such a classic color combination? Combining a little bit of die-cutting, foam adhesive for dimension and the exclusive shine sticker made such a simple, but an elegant card!

At first glance, this card might seem complicated, but it was created using a very simple technique. After the smooth, white cardstock was scored, I grabbed 2-3 ink pads from the same color family. I chose light, medium and dark blue ink pads to blend the ink onto the card using my favorite blending tool, starting with the lightest color, moving upward to the darkest color. Once the ink was dry on the card, I stamped the small snowflakes all over the sky using the darkest blue ink. The snowman was stamped in black ink and to add contrast the scarf was stamped in red ink, trimmed out with scissors and then popped up with dimensional adhesive.

One of my favorite tricks when using stickers on a card is to add foam adhesive to the back of the stickers. This gives extra dimension and elevates the project beautifully.

When watercoloring a stamped image, the key to success is using an ink that will not bleed and a stamping platform that allows you to stamp multiple times onto cardstock. Watercolor paper is notorious for needing multiple impressions in the same spot!
