Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s Becki here to share a layout with you that I created using the gorgeous Sugar Plum Wishes collection created by our friends Paige Evans and American Crafts.

Supplies | Sugar Plum Wishes collection: patterned paper, stickers, foam stickers, letter stickers, puffy stickers; Adhesive: Scrapbook.com, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Cardstock: American Crafts; Sewing Machine; white thread; white crochet thread

Now that the 2023 holiday season is behind us, it’s time to get those precious holiday memories into your scrapbooks! I have dozens of photos on my phone that need to be printed and stories that need to be documented. I have had the Sugar Plum Wishes collection sitting in my office for months! I’m thrilled that I’m finally putting those supplies to good use.

The base for this layout is fun and easy! I created a couple of patterned paper layers and added a piece of 11” x 11” white cardstock.

The photos that I chose for this layout are photos that I took quickly with my phone. I wanted a photo of our living room with the tree up and a photo of my husband and me in front of the tree. I wanted the photo of my husband and me to be the main focus of the layout so I printed that photo larger than the other one.

I placed the photos in the center of the white cardstock base of the layout with a beautiful patterned paper border around each of them.  Below the photos, I added a strip of patterned paper with a fussy-cut border of stockings from paper number 12. Those stockings are so cute and make the perfect, easy fussy cutting project. If you don’t love fussy cutting, you could simply add another strip of patterned paper for a similar look.

Placing my photos right next to each other gave me the perfect spot for a small title. Again, I wanted the photo of my husband and me to remain the focus, so I used small letter stickers and a phrase sticker to create the title. I LOVE those Thickers!

The journaling for this layout will be behind the photo in a little pocket on the red tag. The other tag is adhered to the background and doesn’t move like the red one does. I’ll type my journaling and adhere it to the red tag before putting the album into a sheet protector to go into an album. To finish the layout, I added a few embellishments. I didn’t add too many—just a few to highlight the photos.

This layout was so much fun to create with the Sugar Plum Wishes collection. There are so many fun patterned papers and embellishments in this collection. If you haven’t checked it out, hurry! Order a few supplies and get those holiday photos off of your phone and into your albums! Happy scrapbooking, my friends, I’ll be back soon with another fun scrapbooking project!
