Grace, congratulations! What a beautiful layout, and we love how you captured a fun holiday memory!
Last, but certainly not least, our special guest Laura Bassen came up with this recipe for you to create with:
- Adhere strips of colorful cardstock.
- Use ink blending of some kind, whether on the background or on die cut pieces, as I did one the pinecone for added interest.
- “Zhuzh” any elements to give them life using dimensional adhesive for lift.
- Add a white on black embossed sentiment to pop against the colors.
These projects just blew us away! Take a look:
And our randomly selected winner (because we could never just choose one of these!) is:
Claudia, what a wonderful card, and we LOVE the non-traditional colour scheme, too!
Congratulations to our winners! Please send us your mailing information and telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org and put “Challenge Week blog winner” in your subject line.
We want to thank everyone who was inspired to create using our challenges and submitted a project! Stay tuned for our next challenge week leading up to our spring issue release! Have a wonderful weekend, friends!
