Hello, friends! It’s Jana Eubank here. I’m excited to share my latest layout with you today using the Simple Stories Wildflower collection and two die sets from Scrapbook.com.

Chipboard frames have recently become one of my favorite embellishments to work with. Typically, we use them to frame a photo, highlight journaling, or use them as a shaker element, but today I am using chipboard frames as a layer in my layout design.

Supplies | Simple Stories Wildflower collection: Wildflower collection kit, cardstock stickers, 6×8 pad, chipboard frames, foam stickers, Journal Bits, decorative brads; Scrapbook.com dies: Sprigs Dies, A2 Honeycomb Die; Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cut Machine

I backed each chipboard frame with the A2 Honeycomb die by Scrapbook.com. The honeycomb pattern is reminiscent of bees and flowers and works well with the many florals featured in the Simple Stories Wildflower collection.

Dimensional titles add a lot of impact to a scrapbook page. Choose one of the phrases from the Wildflower Foam Stickers for an instant title that POPS!

I love the outline style of the Scrapbook.com Sprigs dies. I die-cut several of the leaves and tucked them around the floral clusters on my page for additional texture and interest.

I layered together a couple of tags from the Tags Paper in the top-left corner as a home for my journaling. Adding stickers, brads, and die-cuts around the tags repeats similar elements adorning the photos on the right side of the layout.

The ‘Love Greatly’ stripe paper along the page’s top and bottom help frame the overall design.

Have you used chipboard frames as a layer in your scrapbooking? Give it a try, you will love the instant dimension and texture it adds to your next scrapbook page.

Thanks for coming by!
