Hi friends! It’s Jess Forster and I am excited because it’s the most wonderful time of the year: Christmas! As soon as I received the Christmas Time collection from Echo Park, I was inspired to create a traditional layout documenting my family’s 2021 holiday photos.
This gorgeous collection includes traditional red and green hues with classic holiday sayings. It also contains a lovely mixture of florals and plaids. It’s a win win in my book!

After flipping through the papers, the red buffalo plaid paper caught my eye. Called “Magical Christmas” I paired it with the red and white striped pattern paper, “Christmas Delivery” to create an asymmetrical background for my page. After creating a 7 x 7 collage of my favourite family photos from that year, I backed them with the green pattern paper, “Let it Snow” and the white and red holly paper, “Cardinal Floral”. It’s so dreamy!!
I also loved the colourful chipboard accents in this collection and I decided to create a fun column of elements along the left side of the page. Not only did I want to use all the embellishments, I wanted to create lots of dimension and texture. I finished my layout off by adding banner sayings to the top and bottom of my photos.
