Welcome to day three of our 12 Days of Holiday Giving event! When we make the time to sit down to create during the busy holiday season, why not create multiple things using the same supplies? Latisha Yoast is here to show us how she did that using some fun and festive products from Lawn Fawn! Let’s take a look, and don’t miss out on today’s wonderful giveaways at the end of the post, too!
Hello crafty friends! It’s Latisha here sharing a fun Lawn Fawn Christmas ensemble complete with a card and tags that can double as ornaments! Christmas is my favorite holiday, and it is the perfect time to create custom handmade cards and tags.
Supplies | Lawn Fawn: Frosty Fairy Friends stamp, Magic Holiday Messages stamp, Scalloped Circle Gift Tag die, Spooky Forest Backdrop die, Snow Flurries Backdrop die, Stitched Snowflake Frame die, Outside In Stitched Snowflake die, Magic Iris Snowflake add-on, cardstock, ink, glue, chunky glitter, Peppermint cord; Concord & 9th: ink; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam Squares; The Stamp Market: cardstock; Other: red satin ribbon, gold metallic pen
The Frosty Fairy Friends stamp set has the perfect amount of holiday whimsy that I was going for and the images are so fun to color in. After the images were colored, I added glitter to the images and then cut them out with scissors. I lightly blended the front of the card base with aqua ink, then stamped the sentiment in black ink. Next, I stamped sprigs all along the top and bottom of the card front to create added depth. In a light aqua cardstock, the Spooky Forest die cut was added with foam tape as well as the Snow Flurries die cut in a darker aqua color. To finish, I added the images to the card with foam adhesive and glue.
These gift tags are so simple to make and you can die cut as many tags as you want! Using the Magic Holiday Messages stamp set and black ink, I stamped the sentiments. Next, I stamped the same sprig along the edges, then highlighted the images with a gold metallic pen for added sparkle. To finish the tags, I added peppermint cord to each stamped tag.
One last bonus project! I had lots of scrap cardstock to use up, so by stacking three different Lawn Fawn snowflake die cuts together using glue, it created such a pretty ornament or even an ornate tag for a gift!
Thank you for joining me today, I wish all of you the merriest days of this holiday season!

Beautiful creations, i live lathisha crafts and this is a beautiful combination of colour. Love creating with wreaths and santas and cookies and snowflakes… ok I love all Christmas icons lol
I often use snowflakes on my cards and tags, because they work with all styles, whether elegant, vintage, or woodsy. And they complement any color scheme!
I love to create with snowflakes.
I Love to create with angels and snowflakes equally. I am not the traditional Santa and characters. I like more elegant cards.
I love creating nativity scenes and scenes with snowmen, too! Merry Christmas
Snowflakes are my go to. They go with everything winter themed:)
Snowflakes are my favourite to create with, I love how versatile and unique snowflakes can be in any project.
Beautiful projects. I love red and teal together. I love all things Christmas but for crafting I love snowflakes. I’ve got stencils, stamps, die cuts and embossing folders so can create many different snowflakes and we all know, no two are alike.
My favorite icon would be anything with the Nativity on it.
OMG OMG OMG Lawn Fawn is my FAVORITE! And Altenew sooooo gorgeous!!! My favorite Christmas icon to create with is Santa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m always attracted to snowflakes . . . stamps and dies, both! So intricate and lovely!
And I need to say, that FOLDING craft mat!! I’m short on space, but love a big craft mat, so that’s perfect!
Thanks for doing these giveaways. :-)
Snowflakes are my christmas favorite!
My favorite holiday icon to create with is definitely evergreen trees. You can do so many different things with them.
My favorite holiday icon is the snowman. I find them so cute and it takes me back to childhood. They remind me of days frolicking in the snow, having snowball fights and building those wonderful snowmen usually without a hat, carrot or pipe but cute and fun nonetheless.
Wow to be able to choose what we want from Lawn Fawn would be awesome, what a treat that would be, this is dream come true. Ant that foldable mat would really come in handy and looks great. Thank you for these chances to win such great prizes.
You can’t have a holiday card without Santa! I know him! This year seems to be an abundance of Santas for Christmas cards, but it’s fun for making cards for all ages!
Great giveaways. The Altenew mat is such a great idea!
I am a true blue (or white in this case) snowman icon creator. I think if I looked back over all my Holiday card designs there would be almost all snowmen/women :)
I love snowmen and snowflakes for sure!!
Such an adorable card and love the tags/ornaments
Love snowflakes! They are so very versatile.
Poinsettias! They’re so versitle.
I love the Spooky Forest diecut and the tags. The color scheme is fabulous. The giveaways are so generous. I love that folding craft mat – didn’t know I needed one until I saw it here! My favorite holiday icons to create with are candy canes and Christmas trees.
I love snowflake designs. The variety is so inspiring. Thanks for the giveaway.
L*O*V*E the fairy garden – it’s so delightfully fun!
and I adore using snowmen!
What lovely ornaments. I love the red bow. I had no idea Altnew made a collapsible mat. That’s perfect for crops and getaways. My very favorite icon to decorate with is a Christmas tree. I love that you can decorate them in some many different ways and they always turn out beautifully. Thanks you for hosting this fun Christmas event. It’s a fun way to get my creative juices flowing.
Great colorways on Latisha’s cards and tags, thank you for the inspiration! For the holidays, my cards are created with beautiful snowflake motifs, but my tags have cute festively outfitted dogs, cats, owls, penguins, and mice!
I know it’s controversial but I do love Christmas gnomes! (Sorry Catherine Tachdjian)
My favorite holiday icon is snowflakes in different sizes! I love the sparkle.
Another great crafty giveaway. Thanks SCT and sponsors
I love snowflakes. I have crystal, pewter and various snowflakes. One of my favourites is a white glass laser cut one. It’s survived two boys and now my grandkids(so far)
Love the tags and thanks for the giveaway… December is always made fun with all the little goodies from folks like you!!!
Love making cards with holiday stamps and dies
I really love snowmen, I know they are more of a winter icon, but as I lived in Vermont for 61 years, snowmen decor can be kept out from November through the end of March.
I tend to gravitate towards snow-related things – snowmen, snowflakes, snowy scenes.
Great giveaway!! I love to make tags at Christmas especially using Christmas floral.
I love to create with snowflakes.
This card is so sweet, and I love the ornaments/gift tags! My favorite holiday icon is definitely the snowflake! I just love snow and all the pretty snowflake stamps and dies are so fun to use :)
My favorite holiday icon would have to be snowflakes. You can use them everywhere!
Love Latisha’s creations! I love creating projects with snowflakes and wreaths!
I love incorporating Christmas trees into my cards.
That is a tough one! Snowflakes and christmas trees have to be at the top of my list!
Really cute card and images. Loved the snowflake ornament. Nice job, Latisha! Happy holidays!
I probably use Christmas trees and gifts the most in creating.
Thank you to Lawn Fawn and Altenew for these awesome prizes!
I love snowflakes…. each one is so beautiful!
oh my gosh those cards are adorable! My favourite thing at Christmas is all the Christmas lights – especially stars. I love seeing peoples homes all decked out and it always seems so gloomy after Christmas is over and the lights are gone. Thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing prize.
Gorgeous creations! Love the ornaments! Like to create with wreaths, snowflakes, and nativity icons. Not all in the same creations.
I love to create with snowflakes, I think mostly because I love blue and silver for Christmas designs and snowflakes seem to go so well with those colors.
Gorgeous examples!! I would say Santa has always been my fave icon for the holidays! I love all the red!
I absolutely love everything snowman
I love to create with Christmas trees t5hough I do use a lot of snowflakes since I live where we get so much snow!
I enjoy creating with snowflakes and snowmen!
