Welcome to day twelve of the 12 Days of Holiday Giving event, and what a wonderful event this has been! We have seen festive layouts, cards, traveler’s notebooks, ornaments, tags, and more, discovered new products from our partners, and found amazing giveaways in each post! But we still have ONE MORE in store for you, and it’s a treat! Let’s take a look at the treat boxes that Mindy Eggen has created to share with us, and find two final giveaways up for grabs!

Welcome crafty friends! This is Mindy and I’m so excited to share my project with you today for the 12 Days of Holiday Giving!

I love making treat boxes but how about we add a lot of sparkle and shine to them? These are sure to make the recipient go “WOW!”

Supplies | Gina K Designs: White Cardstock, White Poly Glaze, Glittering Green Fancy Foil, Radiant Red Fancy Foil, Glimmering Gold Fancy Foil, Fuse Foiling System, Intri-Cut Die Cut Machine; Taylored Expressions: All Tucked In, All Tucked In Holiday Windows, Take A Bow, Acetate, Gold Pearls, Glue Dots, Double Sided Tape

I started with a full sheet of White Poly Glaze from Gina K Designs and foiled the entire panel with a variety of Fancy Foils, including Glittering Green, Radiant Red, and Glimmering Gold. You will need a carrier sheet and laminator to do this. I used my new Fuse Foiling System. It foiled my panels like a dream! You can also do this with toner sheets as well.

Next, I die cut my treat boxes from the foiled panel with the All Tucked In die from Taylored Expressions. Then I created a window in the front of the box with the All Tucked In Holiday Windows. You could also opt to not cut a window if you want the contents to be a surprise, but I think windows are so fun and cute!

I lined the inside of the window with acetate secured in place with double-sided adhesive tape to prevent my treats from popping out.

The rest is scoring and securing the side panels down with your favorite type of adhesive. I used double-sided tape once again, but liquid glue or a tape runner would also work.

One thing I would like to note is do not “work” your fold lines too much, as this can fray the edges of your foiled panels.

On the flip side of the box is a tab that you can slide your scalloped lid into or secure in place with a bit of tape runner. I finished off the top of the box with a bow that I die cut from white cardstock using the Taylored Expressions Take A Bow and added a gold pearl to the center. It’s best to secure these together with a glue dot so they don’t pop off when being passed around or in transit.

These treat boxes are just darling and hold a variety of treats! I have a mix of Rolos, Kisses, and Mini Reeses peanut butter cups. I cannot wait to pass these out! I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and it has sparked some ideas for you!

Happy Holidays, friends!
