Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, and I’m so egg-cited to share a whole basketful of Easter cards I created with the sweet new Bunny Hop collection from Doodlebug Design! I was so inspired by this cute collection that I just couldn’t stop at two cards! Hop along with me, and hopefully at least one of my card ideas will spark an idea for you! Here’s a look at the entire set:

Supplies | Doodlebug Design Bunny Hop collection: Cardstock, patterned paper, acetate, die-cuts, stickers, gems, jewels; Echo Park Paper: Dies; Silhouette Cameo: Electronic cutting machine; Scrapbook.com: tape runner adhesive, foam adhesive

I always love creating shaped cards, so of course, I had to try my take on an egg-shaped Easter card. I layered a few different patterned papers, trimmed them into an egg shape, stitched around the edges, and then started decorating my eggs with all the darling printed die-cuts, stickers, and more!

Next, I wanted to create some fun little scenes with the cute bunny vehicles in this set. My favorite way to create depth on these types of cards is with foam adhesive. I love using the large rolls of foam adhesive tape from Scrapbook.com because it’s so easy to customize the foam to whatever shape and size I need. I chose a traditional rectangle-shaped card for this set.

I couldn’t stop creating without using some of the delightful polka-dot heavyweight acetate included with this collection! If you want to try something new and different, acetate is a fun product to experiment with!

Just when you thought the fun was over, think again! There were just too many cute elements I wanted to use, so I decorated the INSIDE of the cards too!

How would you use this colorful new Easter collection? I’d love to hear your ideas! Happy Easter!
