Hello friends & Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s Latisha Yoast here with you to help you get those last-minute cards completed. For me, the entire month of February is love month. It’s okay if you get some of your cards mailed late, and snail mail is always better late than never! Today, I have two cards to share with you using some of the newest Valentine’s Day products from Lawn Fawn, as well as older, beloved products.

Supplies | Lawn Fawn: Heart Garland Portrait, Heart Garden Border, Giant XOXO, Wood You Be Mine, Lots Of Hearts Background, Falling Hearts, Cloudy stencil, ink, cardstock, adhesive; Olo: Markers; The Stamp Market: cardstock; Taylored Expressions: Cardstock; Foam Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

First up is a non-stamping card for those of you who do not like to color-stamped images. The Giant XOXO is one of my favorite stand-alone dies from Lawn Fawn. I knew I wanted to incorporate it into one of the cards today. I used the Falling Hearts stencil and pink ink to lightly apply hearts with a blender brush. Then, I blended red ink onto pink cardstock using the Lots of Hearts stencil before I cut it out with the Giant XOXO die. This added more contrast and interest to the card. The Heart Garden Border was die cut with green cardstock and adhered to the bottom of the card. I die cut the hearts with pink cardstock and glued them to the green border. To finish the card, I cut the Heart Garland out of red cardstock. Before I glued it down, I trimmed the excess off the bottom of the card with scissors. I love how the strip of flowers has hearts as the flowers—so super cute!

To keep the theme of love, I used the heart garland again. This time, I used a cloud stencil to create pink clouds inside the border. Before I die cut the heart garland, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in the center of the card with black ink. Above the sentiment, I popped up the cute stamped cards for extra dimension. I colored the images with alcohol markers and fussy cut them with scissors. For those of you who don’t like to cut out images, don’t fret as this stamp set has a coordinating die set!

I hope this gives you an extra push to create a few Valentine’s Day cards! It is never too late to send a card full of love to friends and family. I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for joining me.
