Hello friends! It’s Victoria and I am back with a set of festive holiday tags for the final day of our 12 Days of Holiday Giving event, using goodies from the Make It Merry collection by Simple Stories!
The holidays are finally here and I am in the process of buying gifts for my loved ones and making holiday cards. To keep my process fast and easy, I like to make a set of tags that I can adhere to gift bags and presents, or use as a focal point on a scrapbook layout or card.
For my project, I created a set of five holiday tags using a tag die and patterned paper from the Make it Merry collection. Some of the tag backgrounds were heat embossed using texture paste and the Make It Merry Pine Trees Stencil. Additionally, some of the tags were dry embossed using an embossing folder from my stash.
Each tag was embellished with an assortment of elements from the Make It Merry Collection to include die cuts, chipboard stickers, die cut stickers, and enamel dots.
To complete each tag, I added ribbon and twine for extra texture and interest!
Tags are the perfect holiday craft project that requires very minimal supplies and effort. I hope you are inspired to make a set of custom gift tags for your friends and loved ones. Have a magical and festive holiday season!
